One way to protest the current madness that is TM30 is maybe by letting them see that they can't keep up with this, best way would be to follow the letter of the law to the every step, or over report, going to a 24 hours coffee shop? 7-11 or getting petrol? file another TM30 when you came home after an 'overnight' visit as you're a foreigner and not quite sure if you have been spending time in other province or not.

 

But looking at queues at CW, maybe they are reveling this? maybe they need to show queues and mass of paperwork to justify their existence/funding/manpower somehow? 

And then you woke up. Another way to do it, is to not have a problem with it.

Not that a coffee shop proprietor, 7-11 manager or garage owner would take too kindly about signing a TM30 which was thrust under their noses, of course.

 

Mind you, the way things seem to be developing, they might eventually have little choice in the matter!

 

What exactly constitutes an 'overnight stay'? Coming back home at 4am after a night on the bevvy at your mates house just over the county border, TM30 next day?   LOL
