I note that this hospital has recently opened a branch in Ramkhamhaeng which would be very convenient for my family especially in case of emergencies.However I know nothing about the Kasemrad hospital chain and neighbours haven't seemed to know much either. Does anyone have experience of Kasemrad and in general terms provide an assessment.Are they for example geared up to foreigners?

They cater mostly to Thais.

The Kasemrad chain is not bad,  but this hospital was not the best in the Kasemrad chain. It has been completely refurbished lately.  

How good they are now remains to be seen. 

Have used Kasemrad and saw an optician and experience was good. I do think that for more serious cases, etc. you can opt for Samitivej as it is more first rate.
