2 things, I think the new findings show it's maybe 1/3 to 1/2 as bad as smoking .  Secondly ciggarette smoking took decades to damgae lungs and show cancer deaths. These vaping reports of deaths and damage to lungs are showing up in months or a year or so of starting vaping not decades. Seemingly causing lung damage much faster than the ciggaretts although not nescessarily cancer.

No idea where you getting your information from, but after smoking a few packs of cigs tar is already visible.

What lung damage are you referring to? has there been any definitive study to show lung damage caused by vaping?

You state 1/3 to 1/2 as bad, so admitting its better that smoking or what are you saying?

Did you read how doctors arrived at the conclusion?

Here this should make you happy, if you vape using legal vape machines with premium liquids containing low to medium nicotine amounts then vaping is much safer than smoking regular cigarettes and can help smokers satisfy their nicotine addiction without damaging their lungs.  However, if you are young and dumb and try to use cheap blackmarket devices throwing in Canabis oil, mariquana or whatever then you may have problems.

In my post #67 the link explains what Black Market devices are.  I agree that properly used e cigs are  less dangerous than smoking regular cigaretts and can help smokers quit smoking, however it seems to be causing serious problems with young adults who throw all kinds of stuff in them to vape. These reports are not about mature adults vaping but teenagers or young adults using and suffering reactions.

As I ststed above seemes far les harmful for adults who are trying to quit smoking but hadzarus to kids and young adults who are abusing the use of vape devices. Also the nicotine addictive to kids who use  ecigs

So now you agree vaping is better than smoking but want to argue vaping is bad for kids because they misuse it?

tell me how is smoking for the sane kids? And how much less addictive is the nicotine in cigs for the same

kids?

The main cause of the cancers is nicotine, makes no difference how you get it into your lungs--vapor or smoke.

One of the most misinformed things I've ever read on this forum and that's saying something!

Who is Leah Groth?

If you don't care to read the articles because your mind is made up don't comment on them. Leah Groth is a health reporter for Microsoft News and quotes the various Doctors and Studies that her information comes from on each page of the article.
