On my last visa run, i did  not not complete the immigration arrival card with an address. I was questioned but could not verify the new address. I was them asked if i had money on me, to which i answered i had about 4000 baht. I was then taken by force to a holding room and sent back to Kuala Lumpur on the next available flight.  I was handed a letter stating the following..Immigration Act.B.E. 2522 Section 12(2)..Having no appropriate means of living..

Does not sound like a pleasant experience ????. Why would they think they needed to use force?

What kind of visa were you using?

You can return. You were denied entry not blacklisted or deported etc.

Next time have plenty of cash and a hotel booking would be good idea even if you cancel it after print out of booking

Amber, how many times did you visit Thailand in the past and for how long?

Return with an actual visa, and with 20,000 baht equivalent in cash and you ought to be OK. Using most land crossings would virtually guarantee this. You are not blacklisted. You were just denied entry for a reason that you can rectify for future arrivals.
