Eleven people, including two foreign nationals, have been arrested for allegedly running a prostitution ring in a bar in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district, which was raided by police on Monday. A district police officer, who refused to be named, said local police officers collaborated with officers from the Anti-Human Trafficking and Juvenile Protection Department to raid Bunny Bar, which is located in Daun Penh district’s Wat Phnom commune, at about 10pm.

“Police arrested 11 people, consisting of nine women, and two foreign men, including one of whom was the bar owner,” the officer said. The officer noted that police previously received a report from residents that Bunny Bar allegedly offered sex services, including from underage staff.
