Moved house and TM30

Featured Replies

I moved house 5 weeks ago (same area) , and am due for my 90 day report next week

I have not informed anyone of my change of address, and I doubt the owner of my building has done a TM30 to say I am now here

Do I need to worry about this? When I do my report, DO I tell them I have changed address, and what would happen then about the TM30

I am thinking of telling them that I moved the day before?

Any ideas, suggestions about the best course of action?

I am presuming you are renting the premises, and not staying with a friend.  You and/or the owner should do the TM 28 and TM 30 first. You need a copy of your rental contract. If you are doing the owner's job on behalf of him, you also need a copy of his ID card, countersigned by him. That might obviate the need to do a 90 day report until 90 days after you submit those two forms. In the alternative, and especially since you are in the same area, you might be told to continue on with your current "90 day schedule" until your normal due date. Since you have said you are near your next reporting date, they might do it for you on the day you are there.

You are supposed to advise them within 7 days of your move, so act accordingly.
