chang1
I don't understand the desire to flaunt wealth. In a country that people will kill for a fraction of what he lost, it is plain stupidity. Years ago I was talking to a wealthy couple who, on returning to their London home one night, were mugged. The first move was to slash her arm. They were then stripped of their Rolex and jewellery. At first I thought how awful but then that changed to why make yourself a target? elgenon
I've seen Security escort drunks from Nana Plaza and put them into a taxi. I always wonder what happens to them. Curious as to what bars are allowed to stay open until 5 am. But that might be a standard way of Chinese doing business. Wear down the other person. atyclb
the taxis that hag out at rca are generally low like scamming scum disliked by locals as well as expats. i usually walk away a minute or two and get a decent taxi. decent taxis wont tsop for a fare at rca because they are afraid of being assaulted by the mafia taxis.
