I have just been charged by SCB Bank the (what I consider) exorbitant amount of 1350bt to transfer $2120 to my New Zealand Bank.This is the first time I have done this and I certainly do not want to do it again,so I have to find the cheapest way to do this. Can anybody out there with any information on easy and cheap ways to transfer money from bank to bank I would be extremely grateful.Thanking you in advance Dougal

I haven't done transfers in some years. I used to do SWIFT transfers to Canada from Bangkok Bank for B 400, regardless of the amount. I have no experience with SCB, or with New Zealand. Perhaps some of your fee was payable to the receiving bank ?
