The Future Forward party has secured a new venue for its political panel discussion, to be hosted by party leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Sunday after the party was told that it could not use space at the College of Local Administration, in the compound of Khon Kaen University, because the event is political in nature and the roof of the venue leaks.

Thanathorn said today (Saturday) that the new, larger venue is at the Kanchanapisek conference hall of Khon Kaen University and the panel discussion, titled “Constitution and Bread and Butter of the People”, will proceed as scheduled.

Panelists will include former deputy prime minister M.R. Pridiyathorn Devakula, Dr. Somkiat Tangkitvanich of TDRI, Dr. Buapan Prompakping, a lecturer of Humanities and Social Science Faculty at Khon Kaen University and Thanathorn, with Dr. Veerayuth Karnchuchat from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies of Japan acting as the moderator.

Hilarious! Two separate reasons, but both within the same sentence.

Perhaps it was more likely the venue leaks politically and couldn't be seen as secure?
