Security Guard injured in mysterious shooting in Huoy Yai.

A shooting incident now which begun in Huoy Yai sub-district on the outskirts of Jomtien and ended up at Banglamung Hospital.

At around 1am on Wednesday Police Major Jackgarin from Banglamung Police station received word of a shooting which had taken place in Huoy Yai. The victim and his damaged car had fled to the Police Box on the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien.

The victim is Khun Boonhome aged 38, an off-duty Security Guard who works for the FBD Company Ltd in Huoy Yai. He arrived at the Police Box in his Bronze Toyota Vigo which had sustained two gun shots.

Unfortunately one of the shots penetrated the passenger window and severed one of his fingers.

Luckily he sustained no further injuries. Khun Boonhome explained to Police that he was asked to pick up two workers at the Ambassador City Hotel in Jomtien. As he made his way to the Hotel, he traveled down the main Huoy Yai Road. Without notice, he saw two masked gunman come from behind a tree who opened fire on his vehicle.

He fled towards the Tepprasit Road and then alerted Police of the shooting. The victim could not offer any motives behind the attack and Police are continuing to investigate.

There's a bit more to this than a random drive by methinks :D

I bet they get away with it, cos it ain't like he's gonna be pointing the finger is it :o

no , but somebody will give the police a "hand" and help to "nail" the gunman.

and hopefully the "armed" criminal will get more than a slap on the "wrist" when his case comes to court.
