Here is one in the whisleblower report.Pay particular attention to the footnotes in the link below that reference the OCCRP

" look no further than the portentously named Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP).

The OCCRP calls itself “an investigative reporting platform formed by 24 non-profit investigative centers … spread across Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America".

There is a link below that ties Soros to the Occrp.

"The OCCRP’s financial statements—publicly available on their website, here, here, and here—verify (1) the degree to which this outlet is funded by Soros’ Open Society Foundations".

There was a time when a president like that would have resigned. And there was a time when he own party would have thrown him out. But those times are obviously over. Amazing USA. RIP

What's most amazing to me is that, other than some of those right-wing types on the interwebs, no one is defending the president.

During the DNI's testimony no republicans defended the president's actions. Instead they rambled on about leaks, heresay, attacking everyone, nude pictures of the president, a witch hunt, the deep state, getting back to legislatin'. But no one defended the president.

Clearly what the president has done cannot be defended.

I guess I am shocked that he would stoop so low, and it is a truly sad time for our country. Time to lance this cancerous boil and move on.

Unfortunately, audio and and video is increasingly being fabricated using computers. In this case I don't believe it is however. So what other methods can we use to seek unbiased understanding of events?

My mother was wont to say "the hit dog always hollers".

Perhaps a clue to the truth is better found in trumps incessant, shrill, crass, and agitated tirades and ad hominen attacks against virtually every person and official body involved in seeking the truth in this matter.

An innocent man welcomes and willingly aids the fact-finding process confident that it will eventually vindicate him. The Truth will set you free.

Precisely the issue mtls.

As you said "I guess I am shocked...."

This human cesspool has violated trust and wreaked havoc in everything he touches so often and so violently that we have become numb. Each evolution of his behavior leaves us more speechless and discouraged for the future.

We can lance the boil but the infection remains in the body politic in the form of the tyrant's Party which has abetted and supported him by surrendering whatever ethics and morals they may have once had either as individuals or as a group.

We can indeed move on, but our first task is to identify those morally corrupt individuals and remove them from office as well.

This will take time, dedication, action, and effort on the part of the American people who value Country over Party.

Are Americans up to this challenge?

That is the only pertinent issue that has faced us since the disease began and the sole path to healthy governance.

You have to wonder why these far right conspiracy types are so allergic to putting their evidence into writing. Maybe because without all the emotion, it would be apparent how empty their words really are.

Wrong topic, Becker.  This topic is about the Ukraine scandal.  If you want to know, dig for information yourself.  But you won't.  Your sarcasm clearly affirms your complete bias.  You'll never be willing to look for any information that disagrees with your beliefs.  Remember I had said in another thread that for every event there's an "official" explanation and then there's the truth.  Bias will blind you to whatever the truth may be.

Here's an excellent connecting-of-the-dots.  You'd have to listen to most of the show because Bongino waits until the end to put the pieces together.  Anyone who thinks that this Ukraine scandal is an isolated event is, well, naive to say the least.  So many connections.

Dan Bongino:

"Bongino has frequently appeared on Fox News' opinion programming and InfoWars.[1] He guest-hosted Sean Hannity's Fox News show in December 2018.[13]

Bongino writes about the illegal spying on the Donald Trump 2016 campaign perpetrated by Barack Obama's administration in his book Spygate: The Attempted Sabotage of Donald J. Trump.
In 2018, Bongino said of himself, "My entire life right now is about owning the libs. That's it."He is pro-Donald Trump.

"Remember I had said in another thread that for every event there's an "official" explanation and then there's the truth."

Yes, because the official explanation is never the truth, sure. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it's never a duck!

You call those who don't agree with your views naive. I could call you some other stuff but my mother raised a polite guy.

Some speculate that Steven "Enhanced Torture Techniques" Engel, who appears to be at the heart of the internal WH cover-up, will suddenly grow a conscience. Not seeing it.

More likely one or more junior types, like some of the twelve people who confessed to the Whistleblower, will break ranks and expose the "Swamp" at the Bada-Bing White House. Part shame, part-Patriotism, part self-preservation, part Kool-Aid (Make America Grape Again) depravation.

Suggestion again - - don't feed the tin foil hat conspiracy theory brigade. But I realize the current occupant of the white house is on board with such craziness as well.

It astounds me that the republicans STILL do not believe a crime was committed. What a disgrace!

Republican senators and congressmen/women know very well that - once again - a crime was committed, but this time it is too obvious to pretend nothing wrong happened.  It's no coinicidence that none of them is defending the President, as they know very well that this is undefendable and doing so will haunt them later when the whole circus is over.

The republican base on the other hand - and surely the MAGA-troops - simply don't care.  Dems are the devil and everything is allowed to keep Our Boy on the throne.

Indeed a disgrace.

No one knew the name John Dean until he blew the whistle at the hearings, and whatever mess they tried to smear him with, it'll be nothing compared to what Fox News and the rest of the jackals using social media  will give to whoever comes forward.

A newspaper in LA has started calling the president Mafia Don.

And some how the whistle blower who uses second hand info from a source (OCCR) who in its own right is politically suspect and highly  motivated by its own representation as I mentioned in my previous comment  .

. Whats important to note is the whistleblower second hand allegations  has brought to light many interesting questions!

Which will result in investigations by both parties judiciary representatives. Stay tuned

Don't jump the gun just yet, Jingthing.  All the details are not in and there's much more info to come.  LOL

You called that right.

We are now learning where Trump and his WH enablers hid the transcript of his telephone calls, not just to the President of Ukraine but to others too.

Rather helpfully, the hiding place was the most secure Intelligence servers, with strictly controlled access to only a very few people. The witness list is the people with access.

And you also added an early LOL, presumably in expectation of learning the co-conspirators are easily identified members of Trump’s WH team.

The laughs are getting louder.

Trump is not real smart for being " smartest president ever"! What an idiot. He spends 2 years obstructing and covering up collusion with the Russians then picks up the phone and does the exact same thing on tape with Ukraine. Well he does have street smarts in the vein of con man and mafia boss but in the area of ethics, morality, and caring about the constitutional rule of law in the American system, he's a big fat ZERO and that's being generous.

What’s important to know is the Whistleblower has told us where Trump hid the evidence.

Looks like Donnie really did himself in this time

Sure but what astounds me is that he has no hesitation to do these things, and no concern for the negative responses that his actions will produce and no concern for the severe lack of ethics and morals and the requisites of good democratic governance, including putting his party in a very negative light.  And I wonder how much longer the seniors and all others in his party will allow themselves to be used like this. But then again with the GOP I guess the $ implications rule way above morals and ethics or anything else.

Is he mad?

I don't think he's mad and it's been a long time since anything he does has astounded me. This is Trump being Trump and this is what he does. He's a complete narcissist with a dim intellect.

Result; The sh!t show that is the Trump presidency.

LOL.  It's hopeless.  It's impossible to discuss anything intelligently on these threads.  I've been in Thailand for 17 years now and if what passes for discourse on this thread is representative of the state of the U.S. these days I would not be shocked to wake up one day to read a headline on TV, "Civil War Breaks Out In America."  Quite sad.

You quote "facts" from dubious (to be very polite) sources and when that is pointed out you start huffin' and puffin'. Are you working on a degree in Deflectionology?

Start linking to sources that have even a hint of credibility and we can have an intelligent discussion.

PS. Scratch that. It's impossible to have an intelligent discussion with someone that regards ALL official statements as false.
