Allowing opening hours till 4 may not be the solution......make the THB 40 against 1 US$.....that will work !!!!

People have only a amount to spend on drink,they,'ll either slow down or go out later,don,t see how they think opening another 2 hours will increase spending by 25%

I wish they would consider the 4 am. thing for the Sukhumvit area too (at least, for the lower Sukhumvit part). I am not a big fan of Khao San anymore; lol.  I used to be; but not since several years ago.

What is global awareness? Does it mean international tourism or Marxist Lenninism eco extremism and hiw does it relate to the KSR?

Pubs? Or bars? Or Clubs? Or Go Go bars? Or restaurants? Bangkok is dreadful for late night eating. Restaurants seem to close around 10 or 11. Pathetic.

I was waiting for someone on this thread to mention the new open after midnight tax, which I believe, is quite high, that may cause many small establishments to close at midnight.

 

I heard about it when it was in the rumor stage.  Does anyone know if it was just hot air by the government, a rumor, or it will start, or has started?

 

For officials to give up their after 2am tea money, means it has to be replaced some other way.
