Filipino visit Visa Extension

Filipino National has missed a flight and is at the end of the 30 visit visa.  Can they extend her visit visa and rebook her flight for later?

She apply for a 30 day extension of her 30 day visa exempt entry at a immigration office.

if your friend is filipino, why not go to any land border, out and come back the same day? ASEAN members gets another 30 or 90 days without any questions i think

Not all citizens of ASEAN countries get the same entry. Most are on the standard visa exempt scheme while 3 other countries have bilateral agreement with Thailand and cannot apply for a 30 day extension.. Laos 30 days, Cambodia 15 days and Myanmar 14 days by air only.

Filipinos  get a 30 day entry and are subject to the 2 visa exempt rule at land border crossings.
