16 year old girl allegedly raped in Soi Neun Pleub Wan.

This story begins at the Dongtan Police sub-station on Jomtien Beach at 4am on Friday when Police Lieutenant Colonel Sirichai received a complaint of alleged rape from a 16 year old girl which took place in Soi Neun Pleub Wan.

The case was transferred to Banglamung Police Station where the victim explained that she decided to take a walk on Jomtien Beach in the early hours of Friday Morning. She was approached by a Thai man who claimed he worked as an Undercover Police Officer.

He challenged the girl to produce an ID Card which she produced for the man. The unknown suspect then told the girl that she must accompany him to the Police Station and if she failed to comply, he would place drugs in her pocket and inform other officers that he had found a girl carrying drugs on the beach. She decided to comply and jumped on the back of the suspect’s motorbike.

The girl became suspicious when the pair drove past Dongtan Police Station and continued down the Tepprasit Road towards the Sukumvit Road. The bike continued towards Central Pattaya and turned into Soi Neun Pleub Wan where the alleged rape took place in a secluded spot.

Police are now hunting for the man thought to be aged between 20 and 25 with a military style hair cut and are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the suspect on Jomtien Beach.

Can't understand why a 16 year old would want to walk on the beach at that hour. BUT, If this is shown to be true, what a shocking thing to happen. Thailands finest are really making the news this week, chopping arms off, raping............
