Anyone know what it's about why every branch is rammed full like this, free money?

That is probably the free money the govt are giving to Thai people, 1000 baht. per person.

    It’s the monthly 200 baht the poor get on the 1st of every month. 

    Live seen similar queues for hours. I believe that’s the only bank you can get it from.
