Hello TV,

I arrived to Thailand about 3-4 weeks ago and did not do a TM30 within 24 hours of arrival because I thought the hotel did it for me.

Now I have about a week until I need to go to immigration and ask them for a Visa Extension.

What documents do I need as an American under 40 to get a visa extension in Jomtien and what is a good way to go about getting them?

Summary:

-American under 40 years old

-On Visa Exemption (Tourist) and did not complete a TM30 myself

-Want to get a Visa Exemption in Jomtien and need the documents

What's the best way for me to go about this?

Thanks for all of your help.

You can apply for a 30 day extension of your visa exempt entry for a fee of 1900 baht.

They hotel may of done the TM30 report online. When you apply for the extension show a the receipt for the hotel so they can check to see if it was done.

You will need a completed TM7 application form with a 4 X 6 cm photo attached.

Copies of your passport photo page, entry stamp and TM6 departure card.

They will ask you to complete the TM30 even if you've been registered already, then you get ushered into room 10 and they check

Thank you. Is there an easy way to get my hands on the forms so I can show up with them completed?

I'm near Majestic Jomtien Condo.

just walk in and pick them up at the front desk
