Police?

What police? even the tessakit are conspicuous by their absence. The revenue this so called council could make from fines for little things like riding on footpaths, blocking footpaths with furniture, smoking in bars or public places 5,000baht every time someone lights up and yet they bitch and scream they have no money

There is little respect from the general population and voluntary compliance to do "the right thing" is not in the nature of many. The authorities cannot enforce the helmet law, let alone something such not using any blank space for destructive and selfish purposes.

I agree , our small soi in nongprue ,is now a short cut for tour buses , absolutely disgusting ....

Talk to your poo yai bann and collect some money to put ramps on the soi. I lived in CM before and had the same issues. The secret is to put them close enough together that the buses underside get damaged when they come down the soi. Took about 3 weeks for the bus drivers to learn.

Try it, it should work. ????

Just block it yourselves and put a sign up saying no access. Most drivers will be to lazy to get out of their cars to remove obstacles.
