October 9, 20196 yr Hey. If you want to try out NordVPN then you can just register here https://vpn.yoti.com and get one free month to try it out. They have servers in the UK and I've watched Peaky Blinders on the BBC IPlayer too.
October 10, 20196 yr Know little of nothing about these things but wondering why need a VPN for BBC or ITV...get them on my little TV Box thing...bought for around 2000 Bt. in Tuk-Com. I did buy a VPN from Google for 1000 Bt. yearly...have it on 3 devices.
October 10, 20196 yr Check out Surfshark.com Only $2 USD per month if you sign up for 36 months. You can sign up for 30 day free trial....they have UK locations as well. And unlimited devices Edited October 10, 20196 yr by howlee101 Add another sentence

October 10, 20196 yr I have been using Pure for the past three years, it fulfills my needs nicely and I have recommended it on TV not so long ago. However after evaluating Nord for the last couple of months I think I'll make the switch after my Pure subscription expires. Pricing being near identical, easier user interface better speed most of the time, connections seem to be more resilient too. Before Pure I used Hidemyass; they suck and openly cooperate with the authorities.

Just wondering if you notice any issues especially with regular disconnects when first connecting and or long connection times to sites on Saturday and Sunday pm? - UK access.

Bandwidth restrictions, waiting in queues for getting online. Highest chance to be detected as VPN user as they use few servers for free VPN etc.pp. Free VPNs have some use (browsing news, registering on sites) but limited.
October 10, 20196 yr Express VPN. Occasionally slows the wifi when using smart AIS in shopping centre. other than the secure connection, I use it to connect with USA to watch the F1 action live. Very happy

Once they had my money, they said they could not "guarantee" access. Since then I have used PureVPN - not only do they provide a VPN for your laptop, their offer also includes embedding a VPN into a browser, such as Firefox. I find that this works very well because the embedded version has options for connecting to BBC, Channel 4, ITV etc. Their customer service is far far superior to NordVPN.
October 10, 20196 yr PIA has worked as required for me and I use it all the time. Highly rated but much cheaper than other suggestions Private Internet Access

I am using the free version - mainly to check my gmail and read TV when in China - TV forum is blocked by the Great Wall Sent from my iPhone using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
October 10, 20196 yr I'm currently using GalaxyVpn which is free and unlimited. If you set it up to connect to EU, you can access all the UK apps (ITV, Iplayer etc) and they work fine.

October 10, 20196 yr I use EPIC browser to watch the rugby world cup on ITV, it has a built in vpn with 1 UK server. I also use it watch tvplayer.com.
October 10, 20196 yr I have just spent 6 weeks using BlackVPN in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. I used it to hide my share trading activities and other things from prying eyes. I would recommend their service - you can access servers in multiple countries, no issues or delays accessing their servers. They aren't they cheapest, but they are the best I have used.

Quite often it shows as connected to the UK and then when trying to load a webpage get the message " No Internet". Had to disable launch on start up because it was happening too often. It works ok on my phone but not on my android box, support said it had not been passed for android boxes as the android has often been tailored.
