Literally “catching the lotuses”, this annual tradition is held on the day before the full moon of October and sees a miniature replica of the “Luang Phor To” Buddha image from Bang Phli Yai Nai Temple transported on the canal in a floating procession as people on both banks toss lotuses into the boat to show respect. Brilliant! This time of the year there are fantastic festivals all round Thailand.  I go to as many as I can. They are always great fun with feasting  dancing, drinking and celebrating. Great stuff!
