Indonesian Cigaretts

Does anyone know if Indonesian Cigaretts, such as Gudang Garam are available in Thailand. These clove flavored cigaretts are also know as "kreteks".

I have never found them in Thailand except by chance by a street vender in Papong. I have run the gammet all the way down Sukhumvit looking for the dam things. I now buy them here in San Francisco by the cartoon before I leave for Bangkok for an astronomical price but I do not care as they are the only cigarett I smoke. I would have thought that given the distabce they would be easier to find in Thailand than my home town.

PS I'm leaving for Bangkok this Friday!!!!!

They are now available legally in Malaysia.,after being banned for many years....so pop along to Penang and "fill yer boots"..

Used to get several kinds of kretek in front of the Russian Market in Phnom Penh. No luck in Bkk so far.

hey!!! You can set the Gudang Garam "Kretek" and Digi Sam Su at the opposite of the mall Bangkapi and it's somewhere near about the 'Mark Plaza"

I used the buy there.
