The hardware store at Wang Sai Phun has been a reliable source of Lobster paint over the years and truth be told I have never had a bad tin.  But Cherry Red is the preferred colour of the new greenhouse frame and when I ranout the other day my only option was to  buy the only other brand in stock....which turns out to be less than ideal.   With Lobster I have been able to use turpentine as a thinner and for wash out...not so the Duck!   I've just sprayed the Duck using automotive thinners so I should know by lunchtime if it's helped or not.  And to top it of the Duck cherry red is 2 or 3 shades lighter than the Lobster.  I am hoping if I don't mention it, no-one will notice!
