Koh Samet: Six Chinese tourists injured as speedboat goes into back of water delivery boat

Manager reported that six tourists were taken to hospital after a speedboat carrying a group of 11 Chinese tourists on a snorkeling trip collided with the back of another boat delivering water.

Transport Ministry mulls revival of Pak Bara and Songkhla deep-sea port projects

The Transport Ministry is considering reviving the Pak Bara deep-sea port project, in Thailand’s southernmost border province of Satun, and the Songkhla deep-sea port project in Songkhla province. Both have been shelved for several years due to strong protests by local people and environment groups.

Floating Rainforest or Elephant Camp at Elephants Hills – the decision is yours.

Pollachi is a destination which makes you believe in magical reality. I often wonder how some places can be magical and realistic. Having spent most of my life in a city, waking up amongst greenery to the sound of birds singing is far stretched from my everyday reality but I am happy to find destinations which are a welcoming, surreal break for me.

Thai shippers cut 2019 export outlook to a fall of 2.5%-3.0%
