Im just wondering if its stopped in customs in thailand, what taxes/duties/etc would I pay? I can choose shipping from either China or Russia

Price is $300

I know there are high taxes from europe but what about China?

Thank you

As it appears to sell for 19,000 baht from same source on Lazada, tax paid, expect customs may indeed be considerable.

Edit:  not sure if Lazada is actually the same model - photo looked the same but appears they make a lot of models and not too clear what is which as have never studied them.  Sorry.

If paper work is filled out properly the Thai Duty on medical equipment is 0%, duty free. You will still have to pay 7% VAT on the equipment CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight) Thailand and shipping.  Here's a link that explains the whole shibang: https://customsdutyfree.com/customs-or-import-duty-for-medical-equipments-to-thailand

It gives the correct commodity code to put on the paperwork that insures that it comes in tax exempt.  This code determines what % customs duty is applied and should also be on the export paperwork from China.  China has some very strict export regulations.  I import gatherer chains for my JD combines from China which should only be at 5% duty but the company can not exporst them from China using the correct code and export them only as roller chains and I pay 10% duty.  But it's definitely cheaper than buying from John Deere which come from the us even though they are made in China.
