Identification is critical.  And take note, this is an important bit of information to go along with good identification of pests vs not-a-pest:

^^ Agreed its just too bad here in thailand just about everything except the bad stuff has been killed off due to indiscriminate and overuse of chemicals.

Here's the Thai version.  No gophers, bears or coyotes.
