TM30 requirement for relative, 3 week visit, tourist visa??

Hi,

 

Quick one. I have a relative just arrived for 3 weeks on a tourist visa and will be staying at my house.

 

Do I need to go to immigration and fill out a TM30 for them? 

 

They wrote my address on TM6 arrival card. Will that suffice for a 3 week trip having informed them of the address there?

If they won't have any dealings with immigration the standard view is "don't bother".

Unless he will be doing something at immigration there is no need for the report to be done.

Yeah that is what I was thinking. I won't bother wasting my time, I imagine only needed for longer stays/renewals.

 

As far as I am concerned they have been informed of the address on the arrival card. Pleading ignorance otherwise.
