I got a multiple entry o visa in Laos based on married to a Thai valid to July 2020, I have exited Thailand twice since then and my current admitted stamp says valid until Jan 21 2020. Can I change to an O visa based on Married to a Thai any time? If I left and re entered Thailand this week and received another 90 days entry when is the earliest I can lodge a o visa married to a Thai application? reason is a legal employment offer pending.

The Laos visa is an O retirement

Any time within the last 30 days of your current permission to stay you can apply at your local immigration office for a one-year extension of stay for the reason of living with your Thai wife if you meet the requirements for this type of extension.

as above post 2,

apply in the last 30 days of any entry stamp, you will not be applying for a visa, you already have that, you will be applying for a one year extension of the stay granted by your entry stamp 1,900thb

I went to my local Immigration office (Buriram) to see whats involved and he supplied me with the common check list as well as 4 forms for my wife and myself to fill out and sign which i dont know if this is the usual case around the country.

1. Statement. for wife that affirms that I am staying in her house and I am applying for a extension of stay

2. A form for both re any conviction while in Thailand along with a lot more, in Thai sorry not much more i can say what it is .

3 Form for Foreigner to fill out , Acknowledgment of penalties for a visa overstay and Acknowledgment of terms and conditions for Permit of temporary stay in the Kingdom of Thailand.

Also a copy of the KOR ROR 2 proving still married, applied for on the date of application.

Images of forms requested

Been getting a printout of the Kor Ror 2 done at a Amphoe for several years now. If divorced you would not be able to get one.

What is odd is that they want one on the date of application.
