RATCHABURI (NNT) - Let’s take a look at New Year celebrations across Thailand, such as the Amazing Thailand Countdown 2020 @ Ratchaburi event where tourists have prepared for the countdown into the new year, while in Yala province the Pradu Daeng trees are now in full bloom, waving goodbye to the old and welcoming the new year.

When driving along Phipit Pakdi and Sukhayang roads, Pradu Daeng trees can be seen in full bloom opposite Satri Yala School by the road, with red flowers adding color to the cityscape during the New Year holidays.

These Pradu Daeng trees were planted to replace Pradu Lueang trees which died about 10 years ago. Pradu Daeng trees are popular as they are a more durable type of Pradu tree. Those who wish to capture the idyllic scene of the red Pradu Daeng flowers in full bloom can still do so during the holidays.

In Ratchaburi, the New Year celebration Amazing Thailand Countdown 2020 @ Ratchaburi event is being held from today until 1st January 2020, with lights, sound, and spectacular stage performances in a lineup bigger than the previous year, incorporating modern technology and a large LED screen counting down the time to midnight.

Just outside the stage area is a 60-meter light tunnel where visitors come to take photos and selfies, especially at a giant sunflower sculpture made by a Thai artist, which has been displayed before the eyes of 2.3 million people in Australia. Famous singers and performers will be on the stage on New Year’s eve to entertain event goers, followed by a countdown event and fireworks. This event is expected to generate 10 million baht cash in circulation.

Last night in Nan province, light rain forced people at the walking street to return to their accommodation. Some visitors who could not find rooms put up tents in front of Nan City Municipality office or spent the night inside the office building. The municipality provided officers to protect campers through the night.

Some people will believe what they are told...but not many are on this forum for some reason. Must be too much exposure to reality!
