im confused why he was leaning over the top of that firework when he lit it?????  was he drinking??????

If you read the other threads , this was his 3rd attempt to lit the firework.

But this time he had flipped it around so the bottom were all the explosives are stored was facing him. If he had kept the "bomb" the right way , he probably would have survived.

Brutal... So very brutal - here living life to the full one minute then gone in a flash due to nothing more than a momentary lapse in judgement...  RIP   I hope this is a lesson to all of us

..wonder if he had a will, in fact how many of you living in Thailand have a will? With all the crazy driving & M/C deaths along with all the other pitfalls that can end your life there it should be mandatory.. might be a good new years resolution to have one made asap just to be covered in case something unforeseen does happen that ends your life.

RIP.  Anyone interested in starting a go fund to support his fiancé and funeral arrangements I’ll chip in.

Gary will be going home to Corby. Self funded but with lots of emotional support from his circle of heartbroken but loyal friends here and around the world. Friends wishing to travel to the UK for his funeral have been offered Heathrow airport pickup and a bed by mutual friends in the UK.

Thanks to those who offered kind thoughts and condolences.
