PM asks Opposition to focus censure debate on current government

 

 

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has warned the Opposition not to censure the performance of his previous administration and to concentrate on this government, which has been in the office for about five months.

 

“This government is just five months old, please remember. The previous government is the previous government.  This censure debate is about this Prime Minister and his cabinet.  Do not confuse the two otherwise it will cause damage,” said the Prime Minister, in reference to the Opposition’s plan to censure the Government and its predecessor, also under General Prayut’s premiership.

 

He said that the current government had continued some of the beneficial projects implemented by the previous administration.

Massive difference between asking and warning !

I would think the more threatening verb to warn was used by the clown.

 

The previous government is the previous government, BS Same bunch of old cronies, with their snouts stuck firmly in the trough, in this government as the previous government.

So it's okay to censure any previous "elected" government or censure the current "elected" government of 5 short months but it's not okay to censure the 5 year "period" of self appointed military rule (previous administration as he refers to it).

And it's okay to attempt to abolish a "truly elected" opposition party.

Hmm .... I must check Wiki for the definition of "hypocracy".

They will probably be limited for time during the debate, due to some unforeseen (planned) distraction...

Sounds like an all out threat. Do this and you will get that. He and his crew need to be taught a lesson by the opposition and kicked off of their almighty high buffalo horse then left out in the cold.

To call this a 'government' adds a legitimacy that it doesn't deserve due to the shenanigans, party jumping and all sorts of skullduggery.

Achieved: Peaceful existence under the threat of being blown away or disappearing.
