Let's forget "wining" Falangs, this government did a lot of good things that seem to be forgotten, Cannabis, Plastic Bag, reduce the gap between the poor and the middle class, we can go on for long, Thailand does not deserve another tycoon CEO good only in marketing and to enrich more his investments. Spot on to the present government, even if i will not have voted them, we have to admit that is the best Government Thailand ever got. . What fantasy. The military government have only accomplished over 70% of foreign investment leaving the country, tourist hot spots turning into ghost towns all over the country, expats leaving, breaking international law which will cost the country billions of $, Toyota stopping Prius manufacturing, car manufacturing moving to other countries in Asia, a crashing acconomy with exports imploding. Yep but the deck chairs being banned sorry they are moving back, but lotto tickets 80baht mmmmmm sometimes, banning people from the back of pickups..... Lasted a week. One could go on and on. The country did not vote for him (he and his buddy never put their names on a ballot paper) and again he stole the country.
BobbyL
The tide is slowly beginning to turn. The people voicing their opinion nowadays isn't just your red shirt farmers. It is a middle class / younger generation along with the power of social media who are starting to see what is really going on here behind the scenes. They can't control the masses anymore due to today's modern world. The only big stumbling block is what we all know.

canuckamuck
The solution for the government is obvious. They just need to arrest more of the opposition until they are in the lead again

Sunderland
Thailand truly missed out on its opportunity to be another South Korea or a Taiwan. It's been bypassed even by the likes of Vietnam, and it's not even that far ahead of the likes of Laos and Cambodia now.

Expat Brad
Sadly IMOP the military is doing as zordered by the Elite. They are the one's making money with the high baht. As for businesses folding..... WOW!!! that's a plus for them too. Buy them cheap and wait thus, increasing the size of his/there domestic portfolio's. A recession is nothing to this/these people!!! And in all honesty l cannot see another party being allowed to govern Thailand. It would not be acceptable to the Elite.
