I don't recall a full page visa stamp. The ones I have had were only about half a page.

The stamp that immigration does for a non immigrant visa they do is is less than half a page.

I exaggerated a bit to make it easier to understand that the visa stamp is huge compared to entry stamps and much bigger than an extension stamp. Many people have never seen the rubber visa stamp.
