BANGKOK (NNT) - The Public Relations Department (PRD) today opened its contribution to Children’s Day with a parade to campaign for the love of art, culture and the environment.

The opening ceremony of the event was presided over by PRD Director General Lieutenant General Sansern Kaewkumnerd. The themes of the parade were dream careers, Thai Art and Culture, environment preservation and super heroes. The parade attracted a lot of attention from children and parents.

The event featured radio and television news reading contests, various games, a singing contest and other performances.

There were also activities organized by other agencies such as the Office of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation which provided knowledge on how to use fire extinguishers in various situation, and the Pollution Control Department which organized waste separation. Children were taught how to perform CPR to save victims’ lives, vehicle checkups and energy-saving technologies. The children who participated in the activities received cloth bags, drinking water and food at the registration point in front of the PRD entrance.

How do children believe your stories? Just put your foot out of the house and have the best example of how to "save" the environment, it's time you started walking around with your eyes open, but probably the dirt around Thailand has now become so normal that you see it as an aid to the environment!
Do not try to make children learn it if you and all the other adults in this country continually damage the environment!

That is the problem right there. Get rid of all the Generals. Period!

Drinking water and food in disposable plastic containers????? It seems the locals have no sense of irony. ????
