Knicker nicker up to his old tricks - caught red handed with 1,400 items of ladies' underwear

Thai Rath reported on the arrest in Don Muang of a serial thief who has a penchant for sniffing ladies underwear.

 

Danai or "Nai" 55 was caught red handed and a search of his room revealed 1,400 items among other damning evidence. 

 

He previously served a five year eight month term for stealing 5,000 items of underwear. But after his release he went back to his old ways. 

 

Don Muang police had been alerted on January 8th that a man was stealing knickers from The Den on Viphawadee Rangsit Road.

 

On 13th they had a patrol in the area and caught the suspect with three pairs of knickers that a female resident soon confirmed were hers. 

 

Danai's room in Sai Mai was searched turning up 1,403 items of underwear plus other tools and items of the burglars' trade.

 

Danai admitted that he loved the smell of the underwear and it was for his own personal pleasure. 

 

Thai Rath reported that he was involved in the past in burglary in Nakhon Sawan and Bangkok. He once skipped bail after being charged with stealing over 400,000 baht in cash. 

 

In 2012 he was convicted after stealing 5,000 items of underwear and was let out in 2018 only to continue his criminal ways.

Convicted 2012 for stealing 5000 items. Then they just locked him up and no psychologist assigned and no rehabilitation? He should have been in a mental facility. Now they expect him to be ok after they let him out????
