Beardog
Hi, I just found a land deal that is decent in Bang sarae that is 700,000 baht for 345 sq. wah & was wondering what the transfer of title & taxes will be on the land? I heard it was 11% but I am not sure if this is the correct percentage? Thanks for any input! Beardog

Monkeypants
but it is up to how long the owner owns the land also Also if the seller has already sold other land in the same year, this attracts a slightly higher tax.
Beardog
but it is up to how long the owner owns the land also Also if the seller has already sold other land in the same year, this attracts a slightly higher tax. The man Alisa talked with(owner) Has not sold any property . he picked up 2 parcels One with Chinote 3nan 45 sq.wah. & the other 3 rai not to be subdivided. He says the full transfer is 20,000 baht & he will pay half. Does this sound right? he picked up the property at the bank he works at . a forclosure to make a profit I am sure. He was begging my girl to not make him discount. I think I might have to wait a bit & see if he breaks! Beardog
