Doggsy Posted April 4, 2007 Share Posted April 4, 2007 After using the sticky at the top of this forum as a guide I submitted my first attempt at spouse visa last wednesday. Got married last tuesday and submitted the application the next day. Flew back to thailand at 8am and at 1pm my wife was informed her visa application was successful. I thought that perhaps my application was a little week but was hoping we would get an interview as i was confident that would go very well. However they gave an approval without even going to interview, and at the old prices as well!! shame it doesnt start until the 28th may. last time i put a date in on a tourist visa they took no notice. this time they put the date down as far away as I said was possible. I included all the stuff from the last visa application and also explained the discrepency between how long she was here and how long she applied for. seemed to work!!
