Bangkok: Unemployed wife beater murders his better half after argument over sending money to mum

Police in Bangkok are looking for a Thai man who witnesses said murdered his wife at a drinks party in Klong Toei. 

 

Tha Reua police arrived at a house on At-Narong Road where upstairs they found 43 year old Walaiphan by a bed and a desk. 

 

She had been shot dead. 

 

Witnesses said the shooter was her husband Suchart, 52. 

 

An argument developed between the two in which unemployed Suchart demanded that his wife, who works in the delivery business, should send 1,000 baht a month to his mother. 

 

It was such a small amount, he argued, and he couldn't understand why she wouldn't do it. 

 

The argument led to him grabbing her by the throat then getting a gun from a bag and shooting her three times. 

 

He then fled the scene on a motorcycle taxi. 

 

Channel 7 said that he is a wife beater and the couple argued frequently. He often damaged property at the house. 

 

The hunt for Suchart is now on.

I did not even know it was a Profession.

Maybe he could have sent the 1000 baht a month he used for drinks parties ?
