A video posted on the Police TV site on Facebook showed a fire engulfing electrical wiring and adjacent items in Lad Prao Road, Bangkok last night.

 

They said it was in the area of Lad Prao Soi 130. Thai Rath described it as Soi 101 (on the other side of the road) that is in the downtown Bangkapi area of the capital.

 

It all happened about 10 pm when the fire services got the call and was soon reported as being under control.

 

Thai Rath reported that a large swathe of the road was affected. 

 

Many bystanders were watching as explosions could be heard ringing out.
