Popular Post webfact
Somkid tells universities to produce economically suitable personnel By THE NATION Somkid Jatusripitak Thai universities must help groom students who are in step with modern industry to make the East Economic Corridor competitive, Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak said on Thursday (February 6) at a meeting of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand. “After visiting numerous provincial areas, I find that our technology in processing agricultural products is not capable of competing with other countries,” he said. “These local people are using local knowledge to process their products. I saw their potential for production, and thought that universities must provide additional know-how to them in improving their products’ design and packaging,” he added. Somkid also said that the government wanted Thai universities to produce personnel who can support S-curve industries that the government aimed to promote, and also minor tourism areas. “To reduce social inequality, we must improve local communities,” he concluded. Popular Post Enoon
“To reduce social inequality, we must improve local communities,” he concluded. Social inequality begins in those communities. You and your antecedents have seen to that. The idea of sending your "chosen" to bestow your "gifts" upon them is typical of your mentality. Change your indoctrination programme into a real-world education, then the children of those currently educationally underprivileged communities will do the job themselves. Remove your chains from their minds. 5
Assurancetourix
He leaves from afar the gentleman; considerable delay to catch up .. And once they have this staff trained in modern technology or simply trained in what needs to be done; these personnel will need very strong means of persuasion so that the farmers agree to listen to it and then agree to do the right thing. Would I one day have the possibility of seeing rice fields plowed after the harvest or even simply passed to the disc, there are no pebbles here, sand and mixed clay, the discs are more than enough. and modern machines for cutting sugar cane? DLock
Anyone graduation from a Thai University is pretty much useless for a few years, and need significant investment and training before they have any value. Thai students graduating from Western Universities are almost immediately useful, in my experience. Somkid you fishing in the wrong pond. The Universities are rubbish - just check your world rankings. The paper degree is probably only useful to wrap cheeseburgers in.

Popular Post ChrisY1
Educated graduates are not needed in Thailand...let alone wanted. Having a well educated and intelligent population will ruin life for the 1-2% who "own" Thailand. Importing labour and technical personnel is so much simpler and manageable...they have no say here, their movements are controlled and they can be terminated at will.

Srikcir
Stop the military conscription so young people can attend universities. They can be more than cannon fodder (southern insurgency) and flag officer servants.

mtls2005
Who doesn't love a member of the aristocracy swanning in and telling folks what to do. Even the non-military types love ordering the masses about.
