When did this very, very serious virus start ? Let's say January 1st. Since then, in Thailand, deaths from this deadly, deadly virus. Zero. None. Deaths from the absolutely world class VIRUS / DISEASE of Thai driving. Around 1,600. So people. Forget the flu "virus", never, ever, go near a road in Thailand. The chance of death is 1,600 times higher than the Wuhan virus.

When a 40 ton truck hits you, a face mask will not save you.

Maybe a few hiso thais need to get sick or drop dead to hammer home the point...

You do realise the drop in tourism was not due to the virus, right?

It was going down before the virus

Not excatly...0 x 1,600 doesn't equal 1,600, but 0.

Having said that, the death toll is exactly where the "mystery" stands.

There are not enough "official" deaths to explain the official reaction, notably in China.

So, there is probably something else about the coronavirus that we don't know about yet...

More "whataboutism".  Are Thai drivers that kill people multiplying at 2-3x per driver?  Are Thai drivers spreading to other countries and running over citizens in those countries?

The coronavirus deaths are in addition to other forms of death.  Playing the "well, what about this" game is inane.

Mr. A-nut-in, would you care to comment on this headline?

The Chinese put travel restrictions on their outbound tourists. Lucky they did that or the situation here could be much more serious, as the Thai authorities, would have been caught with their pants down, again.

We have a potato head health minister telling us farangs who dont year a face mask should be kicked out of the kingdom and then we have zero flight cancellations from China still flooding into the country... yeah that all adds up!!
