I doubt very much it will be a major issue in 3-4 months, but perception will keep it in people’s minds for a year or two.  Guessing all the ASEAN countries will be hit quite hard from my anecdotal sources.  

 

But a drop of 1.5 million tourists for 3 months?  Everything really seems to point to a much more dramatic drop than that; this would only be about 15% drop— 25% seems much more likely from Feb-Apr.  (I do expect that stay durations will generally increase though, potentially offsetting some of the bad news.)

Need some high spending Nigerian princes to save the country free them immediately????

Get real, hardly anyone infected here, more people get the normal flu, malaria or die in a traffic accident.

Latest numbers from China lastnight in the province of Hubei 242 people died of the virus.

Sad to say a new record,after two relatively quiet days it seems to flair up again.

Lets just say i am hoping Thailand does not get the same rates as China,i see it as a real danger.We are not that far away from China and people arriving every day.
