The Cabinet on Tuesday (February 11) approved the toll fees for Motorway No 6 -- Bangpa-in - Nakhon Ratchasima as proposed by the Ministry of Transport at a maximum of Bt255 for four-wheel vehicles, Bt408 for six-wheelers and Bt587 for more than six-wheelers, Government Deputy Spokesperson Traisulee Traisaranakul said.

Motorway No 6 has a total length of 196 kilometres and is expected to open this year. It has nine toll booths at Bangpa-in, Wangnoi, Hinkong, Saraburi, Kaeng Khoy, Muaklek, Pakchong, Seekiew and Khamthalaysor districts.

For four-wheelers, toll fee will start at Bt10 at the first toll booth the vehicle enters and will be accumulated at Bt1.25 per kilometre, with maximum fee at Bt255.

For six-wheelers, toll fee will start at Bt16 at the first toll booth the vehicle enters and will be accumulated at Bt2 per kilometre, with maximum fee at Bt408.

For more than six-wheelers, toll fee will start at Bt23 at the first toll booth the vehicle enters and will be accumulated at Bt2.88 per kilometre, with a maximum of Bt587.

“The fees are subject to adjustment every five years,” added Traisulee.

One way of clearing the roads...

Would add about 70% of the fuel cost for me (small limousine).

Hmm, with the existing four lane divided highway it might indeed not become too crowded.

And to Pattaya I would finally switch to 304 and further on.

Not paying even more toll for 9 and 7 which are still crowded.
