February 23, 20206 yr Something I don't hear around these parts, Wang Plong, is the sound of a heavy lift chopper. Has been 40+ years since my last encounter, so my hearing memory is still good! My guess is it had been to Phitsanulok AF Base and was enroute to Sattahip Navy Base........if it was connected to Cobra gold 2020 it was probably going home.

February 23, 20206 yr The Americans are certainly around right now. My wife's son is training with them down in Korat. We've a few photos back from him.

Was eyeballed as well as it flew over but at a distance only the underside and rear were visible.
