Rescue workers and police attended a condominium on Pattaya Second Road at 12.30am on Monday after receiving reports of a disturbance. At the scene police found a 78 year old British man who had suffered slash wounds to his head and face. A 67 year old Thai woman, who is understood to be the man’s wife, also received treatment for wounds to her hands. Both injured parties were taken to separate hospitals for further treatment. Picture: 77kaoded The woman alleged the pair had been arguing before her husband attacked her with a knife. She said her husband received the injuries to his head and face as she tried to wrestle the knife from his hands in a bid to defend herself. Images shared by Thai media purported to show a bloodied knife at the scene. A large amount of blood was also found on the floor and in the bedroom of the couple’s apartment. Witnesses said the couple appeared to be drunk. Police are investigating the incident.
