Foreign Porn Webmasters in Pattaya

Pattaya Police Chief, Police Colonel Sutin Sappuang was informed by a foreigner that a porn website located in Pattaya was broadcasting overseas therefore gave orders to the officers to investigate.

It didn’t take the Pattaya police long to inspect the website and found the location of where it was coming from.

When the evidence was gathered, an arrest warrant was issued from Pattaya Provincial Court to make a search in Room No. 7 of an apartment block located on Pratumnak Road –Soi 5.

At 8 pm on 5th April the Pattaya police’s team went to inspect this room where they found 2 foreigners inside; Mr. John Bowen, aged 60, and Mr. Mileam Kyemark, aged 30 – both American nationals.

When the police opened the computer the police found a lot of pornographic material including sexually explicit videos. These two men were taken to the police station together with items of evidence such as a digital camera, a video camera, two laptop computers, eight hard discs and a lot of scene-decorating equipment.

After questioning these two foreigners confessed of providing a sexually explicit website but objected to being arrested as they stated many people did the same without getting arrested. They didn’t think that it would be a serious concern.

The two men were charged with broadcasting pornography as business and further proceedings will be made on them according to law.

PORN GANG ORGANISER APPARENTLY DOESN‘T CHANGE HIS SPOTS

A member of farang-Thai porn operation that PDN reported on last year has re-emerged into the limelight as the organiser of a Bangkok porn gang. On April 7, 2007, three men, John Gilbert Bowen (60) and his gang were apprehended making porno movies in Pattaya, using Thai bar girls and katoeys as sex artistes.

Two weeks ago, the following news was published in Thai on the Manager Online Newspaper and recommended to PDN News by one of our readers.

Apparently, at 6.30 pm, on 12 June , 2008, Police Lieutenant General Somyos Poompanmoung, Police Major General Wisut Wanichbut and a police team from the Child Juvenile and Women Division (CWD) brought a warrant to search a room in Thomson Residence, Bangna Trad, Bangkok, after being notified that a group of foreigners was making a porn movie.

On entering the apartment, they found pornography and video equipment for making porn and all kinds of sex equipment, as well as VCDs and photos. The police also found a gang in the room: three men Messrs.Joe Macos Perlaila (23), Morikane(25) Philipe K. Orivera (29), (all Brazilian), Mrs. Teres Sita Edades(25) Philipina and Mr. Wittaya Mekwilai(25) a Thai Krateuy, who were all in the act of having sex and being filmed. The police found a fully equipped studio set with lights, flash equipment and a big video camera for taking movies and photos, gel and boxes of condoms.

The police revealed that 2 weeks ago they'd had an advance report that this group of people would be filming their movie on such and such a day at this location. They had consequently followed this team, which was apparently run by Mr. John Gilbert Bowen (60), one of the three men who was originally arrested in Pattaya in April, 2007.

Police announced that the criminals will be charged and face 3 years in prison and also fined not more than 6000 baht. They then sent this group of people to the local police station.
