Hi guys. I’ve been on a Non-B for 2 years. I just cancelled my work permit. Now I’m going to apply single entry tourist visa after 2 years. My last tourist visa(single entry) from Vientiane at 2017 december. Since that time until now I can see many things changed. I’d like to ask some questions. Thanks in advance.

1)As I told you my last tourist visa from Vientiane at 2017 december. Do you think if I’ll apply tourist visa from Vientiane it will be a problem?

2)Actually I can go myself but I’m just a little bit worried since visa rules changed. So this time I’d like to use visa agency. I found one visa agency thaivisaservice.com but my visa will expire on 29 february. And this agency go Vientiane on 1 march night, pass border at 2 march. That’s mean 2 days overstay. Do you know any other visa agency? Or should I overstay 2 days?

3)Savannakhet not give tourist visa anymore who have been Thailand more than 90 days doesn’t matter what kind of visa. Is that true?

4)What kind of documents am I need to show at Vientiane?

-Book banking copy at least 20k

-Passport copy

-Flight ticket when go Thailand(am I need to show?)

-Flight ticket after 60 days leave Thailand(am I need to show?)

-Hotel reservation(Am I need to show? If yes at least how many days? Actually I stay at condo with my gf but contract on her name?)

5)Any other documents need to show?

Thanks in advance.

1. Your past tourist visas will not count against getting one now.

2. All the visa run service can do is check you documents to be sure they are correct.

3. Yes in most cases.

4. From the visa service website. https://www.thaivisaservice.com/visa-application-bangkok-to-vientiane-lao-pdr

"Tourist Visa, if you had previously some Tourist visas your application will be considered more carefully. Vientiane is now asking for proof of funds, Book Bank with balance THB 20,000.- up OR print out from Bank account from home country value USD 700.-up. Onward air ticket is not required, but prepare Rental Contract. ".

5. Have you made an an appointment to do your application yet. See: https://thaivisavientiane.com/#

It does not matter what service you use they would not be leaving to go their until Sunday night since the embassy will be closed until Monday.

Have you cancelled your extension of stay yet. If not will need to show a termination letter from your employer or you may have problems at the bridge in Nong Khai when departing the country.

I cancel my work permit yesterday but non-b not cause it’s only 90 days non -b. Not extension 1 year. Already asked immigration. They said no need.

I assumed you were actually on an extension since you mentioned you had been working for 2 years. Most people are able to get one year extension and then many incorrectly call them a non-b visa.
