I am flabbergasted by the sheer blindness and deafness of this contribution.  No wonder America is so divided when such ignorant fluff occupies the "mind" of so many of its people.

Last night, I watched Trump in a Town Hall thingy somewhere in Pennsylvania.

 

This was a guy in total control of his faculties.  No doubt, like all these TV occasions, he knew precisely what questions were coming down the pipeline, but even so , he had to speak for a whole hour without the aid of a teleprompter.  (Whereas, if you take Sleepy Joe away from his teleprompter he is totally at sea.)  Trump performed really well (and it takes a lot to convince me in these matters.) Mind you, it is really BS when we reduce the position of POTUS to a matter of "performance."

 

I can only assume that CMarshall has, for some reason, such an extreme hatred of Trump that it distorts his ability to view the world objectively.

Not sure about the specific diagnosis but yes there has been a marked negative change. 

 

I think there is a good chance 45 will refuse to debate anyone. As incumbent he has a natural great advantage. Why should he take any risks? Also he's already hinted as much saying such debates are rigged by the "enemy of the people" media.

I do emphatically loathe Trump.  However, I don't do medical diagnoses.  The Alzheimer's Disease diagnosis for Trump comes from Dr. John Gartner, who taught in the Dept. of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Medical School for 28 years.  You can hear an interview with him here:

 

For what it's worth Joe Biden also has cognitive decline, not as advanced as Trump's, but then Biden didn't start life as a psychopath like Trump.  The personality disorder is distinct from the dementia.

Yes, the media are indeed "enemies of the people"...not just Trump, but anyone, like Bernie, who threatens the status quo, the business-as-usual mentality .  

Example: I still can scarcely believe that this interchange actually took place, but I was watching and listening to this particular "debate" in Iowa:

 

Media mod: In 2018, [Senator Sanders], you told [Senator Warren] that you did not believe a woman could win the election.  Why did you say that?

 

Sanders: Well, as a matter of fact, I didn't say it......

 

Mod: So, Senator Sanders, I do want to be clear here.  You're saying that you never told Sen. Warren that a woman could not win the election.

 

Sanders: That is correct.

 

Mod:  Sen. Warren, what did you think when Sen. Sanders told you a woman could not win the election?

 

This little snippet reveals with the utmost clarity the way the media treat someone they have decided must be opposed at all costs....

I rarely agree with your opinions but this is spot on. She is a weather vane pointing in whatever direction the money is blowing. Say what you will about Sanders, his record is the most stable of all candidates.
