Daily News reported that the remaining two suspects in the murder of 30 year old Chinese man Wang Jun in Kamphaeng Phet have been arrested and brought to the Ping River for a reenactment.

Hu, 23 and Chiaw, 26, were accompanied in a helicopter ride from Chiang Rai by deputy commissioner of the Royal Thai Police Police Pol Gen Suchart Theerasak.

The arrests followed those of two other Chinese men at the port of Insein near Yangon, Myanmar earlier in the week.

A 30 minute reenactment was done in Tha Mai Daeng sub-district of  Muang district, Kamphaeng Phet.

Locals found Wang Jun trussed and stuffed in a suitcase that had washed up on a sandbank. People had seen bags thrown from a bridge.

Daily News reported that Hu and Chiaw admitted that Wang had been strangled and then tossed in the river. His wife, who has yet to be found despite an extensive search, was stabbed in the back and thrown in too.

Exactly who did what to whom is being investigated by the Thai police.

What they do know is that the executions related to an 80,000 Yuan or 400,000 baht online gambling debt.

The murders are believed to have taken place at a rented house in Pattaya, notes Thaivisa.

Slightly confused as to why a defence lawyer doesn't object to 'suspects' being made to go on reconstructions, but , hey, this is Thialand

"wife stabbed in the back" - possible source of the bloodstains in the house in Pattaya??

Also why murder someone who owes you money - you will then never get it back!

I just don't understand this Reenactment thing. If one does the reenactment  100 % than one doesn't have to court. One could be taken down the back and be Shot.

standard police procedures.

filming the reenactment gives them video evidence to produce in court.

What if the subject is innocent are they going to tell him what to do so they can fudge the vid and Make the subject Guilty.

innocent suspect?  impossible.  this is thailand!  our brave police never make misteaks.

for absolute proof, they may even have the 'suspect' don scarlet gloves during the reenactment.  don't get much guiltier than that.
