Money transfer and the falling baht

Featured Replies

Sent money today from Singapore with TransferWise, taking advantage of the exchange rate popping above Bht23 to the SGD. Usually the money received message says 'your money will be there today', but the response today says 'it should be there April 7' - which was something of a surprise; not sure I like the change from will to should either.

Transferwise is cheaper hands down as you posted. I'm a complete idiot and I use it seamlessly and pay b.gger all to move thousands from my country to a thai bank account and it's a day to do so

Maybe the money is coming by land...and with all these roadblocks, it is difficult to estimate the time of arrival...
