Energy Minister Sontirat Sontijirawong informed the Excise Department on Friday (March 13) that it will use part of its ethanol reserves for production of sanitiser hand gels without asking for permission.

“The Energy Ministry saw the shortage of hand-washing gel as an urgent issue" the minister said "Our ethanol reserves is large to meet consumption of the energy sector and gel production”.

Total productivity of ethanol from 26 factories nationwide amounts to 6.3 million litres per day, of which 4.4 million litres are mixed with benzene.

My gosh, next he will be leaving the table, going to the toilet without asking for permission.

Typo

This amount of ethanol appears to be more than enough for everyone unlike the pitiful situation with the masks.

So it will just be done without P needing to chair a committee.
