The eight suspected students of Singapore International School of Bangkok (SISB), Pracha Uthit campus, have not been infected with Covid-19, chief executive officer Yew Hock Koh insisted.

The school was closed from March 11 to March 24, in line with the Public Health Ministry’s advice, for cleaning and sterilisation after the eight were suspected of having contracted Covid-19 from an infected private tutor.

“We have acknowledged since Saturday [March 14] that the students have been checked and were not infected with Covid-19,” the CEO said.

“Neither staff nor any student in our school has been infected by the virus,” he said, adding that “SISB will continue its e-learning programme.”

So were they students or not ??

It has been known for months that children are the most immune to the disease. There is no reason to close schools, it will do nothing to halt the spread of viruses among ab=dults.
